Who we are

AgriMate (“we”) is a farm management app developed and operated by WARA Technologies, based in Quebec City, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the AgriMate mobile app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run AgriMate:

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number and the language you choose.
• Farm information you enter: farms (including their location if you add it), animals, ponds, feeding, health and vaccination records, sales, customers, invoices, budgets and expenses.
• Information about the people on your farm: the name and role of members you invite.
• Technical information: your IP address, device type and app version, kept in security logs and in an activity log of important actions.
• Messages you send us through this website, such as beta, support or deletion requests.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not show ads.
• We do not use advertising or tracking tools in the app.
• The app does not use your phone’s location, camera or contacts.

How we use your information

• To run the app: store your records, sync them between your devices and share them with the members of your farm.
• To send you reminders and alerts, for example before a vaccination is due.
• To give you AI advice and run the assistant, when you or a member of your farm asks for it.
• To keep AgriMate secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To answer your messages and requests.

AI advice

When you ask for an analysis or use the assistant, a summary of the relevant farm records is sent to Claude, an AI service from Anthropic, to prepare the advice. We do not include your password. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use this information to train its models.

AI advice can be wrong. Always use your own judgment, and ask a veterinarian or an expert for important decisions.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run AgriMate, and only as needed:

• Supabase: database and sign-in (servers in London, United Kingdom).
• IONOS: the server that runs the AgriMate service (United States).
• Anthropic: AI advice and the assistant (United States).
• An email provider: to send sign-in codes and account emails.
• Web3Forms: to deliver the messages you send through this website.

Where your information is stored

Your information may be stored and processed outside your country, including in the United Kingdom and the United States. We use providers that protect it with industry security measures.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except where we must keep some of it by law. Security logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Security

All connections to AgriMate are encrypted (HTTPS). Every request is checked so that each person only sees the farms they belong to, and stored data is encrypted by our database provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

You can view and correct most of your information directly in the app, and export your farm reports as PDF or CSV. You can also ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing contact@waratechnologies.com. You can delete your account at any time.

Children

AgriMate is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. The date at the top shows the latest version.
